Sugar Mice from Honeydukes in Hogsmeade

  2. They're basically fondant left to dry. Melt a cup or two of marshmallows in the microwave, stir and add a few cups of powdered sugar until it's a playdoh consistency. Bam, you just made fondant.

    Add vanilla or other flavor if you want, or sub some of the powdered sugar for cocoa powder.

    Then grease your hands with butter or crisco and pinch off a golf-ball sized bit. Roll and shape into a mouse and poke a tail in using a chopstick (we used dental floss but kitchen twine is nice if you have it). Let dry for 36-48 hours. Basically like eating cake the dry fondant cake decorations--pure sugar. the kids LOVE them.
